Antique Landers, Frary & Clark coffee urn / percolator , manufactured in New Britain, Connecticut, USA.
The item is clearly stamped:
“LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK, NEW BRITAIN, CONN. U.S.A.”
With multiple patent dates including late 1890s and early 1900s, and marked “GRIND COFFEE”.
This is a beautiful early 20th century piece with a polished metal body, glass finial to the lid, twin side handles with black grips, decorative pierced tripod stand, and original spirit burner to the base. A superb example of American kitchenalia and early coffee equipment.
Condition:
In good antique condition overall. Shows age-related wear, surface marks and some tarnish consistent with age and use. The perforated grinder section shows patina and wear as photographed. Please study all photos carefully as they form part of the description.
