This is a classic early German microscope by Ernst Leitz (pre-Leica), known for high-quality optical instruments. The piece features a polished brass body, black enamel base, and multiple objective lenses.

Condition:
Good antique condition with normal wear from age and use. Brass shows some spotting and light patina. Base has scuffs and wear. Case shows age, interior wear, and staining. Optics appear intact but not tested for accuracy. Sold as found.
