This example features a prominent embossed crown emblem on the front, consistent with fraternal military-style regalia used by the Patriarchs Militant branch of the IOOF. Pettibone was a major supplier of fraternal and military uniform equipment during this period.
Constructed of black leather with brass fittings and side suspension rings. The interior retains its original red lining with a clear Pettibone maker’s stamp.
