Set of three original railway hand lamp red lenses, removed from British railway oil or paraffin hand lamps.
These curved red lenses were used in portable guard’s lamps and shunter’s hand lamps, providing rear signal indication. The shape and thickness are consistent with mid-20th century railway hand lamp fittings.
