Original WWII Canadian military dispatch rider helmet manufactured by Empire, marked size 7 3/8 with “PAT. APP. FOR” stamp.
This is a genuine World War II era fiber shell motorcycle/dispatch rider helmet, used by military personnel such as couriers and dispatch riders. Unlike standard steel combat helmets, this example features a lightweight fiber construction designed for mobility and rider comfort.
The helmet retains its original leather liner and suspension system, showing expected age and wear but remaining intact. The leather chinstrap is present and original, with visible wear from age and use.
The exterior shell retains its original olive drab finish with surface wear, scuffs, small crack and patina consistent with authentic WWII service use. No major structural damage noted.
Condition is good overall for its age, with honest wear throughout. Please review all photos closely for condition details.
Key Features:
- Original WWII Canadian dispatch rider helmet
- Fiber shell construction (not steel)
- Empire manufacturer marked
- Size 7 3/8
- Original leather liner and chinstrap present
- Authentic period wear and patina
A desirable and increasingly hard-to-find WWII motorcycle helmet, ideal for collectors, military displays, or reenactment.
